Overdosing on Soy
When learning about Soy, which is actually soyBEANS, and it’s health benefits, I gleaned allot of interesting information.
While soy protein is good for humans, it is possible to overdose on it! From all that I have read about soy, I have determined that SOY PROTEIN OVERDOSE is a cause of many health issues people experience. I’ll even say that soy overdose by parents over the years by feeding offspring “infant formula” is what has led to a.d.d., a.d.h.d., autism, etc.
I experienced a mild case of soy protein overdose myself. I had been consuming lots of everything I describe in this post. After giving much thought how to word my discovery of soy o.d… the only way to describe it is – my poop looked like pig shit! For those of you with offspring and feed them “infant formula”, SOY overdose is why their poop looks like it does.
I do enjoy eating soy based meat substitutes, but do so in moderation. This statement will likely get a bunch of labels placed on me, but here I go anywayz:
If humans ate food as provided by NATURE, and not made by man, we would be much healthier. Breast milk is there for a reason! Women who are drug addicts / drunks should not be breast feeding tho, or even breeding for that matter, as they are sharing the garbage.
The article link below is a pretty good summary of everything I have read about excess consumption of soy protein. There are many other sources out there, look for yourself. This is just a great summation of facts in one article.
Soy: The Dark Side of America’s
Favorite “Health” Food
A couple of exerpts from the article:
Jenny had a thyroid problem and had been taking thyroxine for years. When her office connected with the internet, she went online to a thyroid site. There she learned that soy was a potent thyroid depressant and should not be consumed by anyone with thyroid troubles. Next trip to the grocery store, she began to read labels and discovered that every loaf of bread in the supermarket contained soy flour.
Naomi Baumslag, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical College and an expert on breast feeding, cites many reasons for parents to avoid soy formula. “There is a great deal of scientific evidence that soy formula can be damaging to newborns,” she says, citing high levels of phytic acid, enzyme inhibitors, lectins, manganese and phytoestrogens. High levels of manganese are toxic to babies because they lack the blood-brain barrier that develops later in childhood. Manganese overdose is associated with brain damage leading to violent behavior. Furthermore, soy lacks many factors that are essential to normal brain development including essential fatty acids, DHA-brain growth factor and cholesterol.
