It’s time for some role playing!

YOU ARE A Human Resources Executive, preparing for a job fair at the local government “employment” office. There is a huge line of people waiting to apply for the few openings you have, some have been camped out since the previous evening.

You are dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, wanting to blend in with the crowd to get an idea of peoples attitudes.

You shadow a reporter who is interviewing people waiting in line. This is what you hear:

“I don’t mind doing any kind of work” from one person

“This is the worst job I have ever applied for” from another person, who then says “I’m very annoyed foreigners are taking jobs that Americans need.”

As the Human Resources Executive, you already know who is, and is not going to get a job.

HIRED! “I don’t mind doing any kind of work” – Burmese refugee

“With too few jobs to go around, outraged locals demanded that the work go to residents, not immigrant workers from outside…” Oh, this job was below your standards before, you were to good, too proud to perform “menial labor”. But now you DEMAND the job be GIVEN to you? NOT!

U.S. Citizens are the most lazy, ungrateful, disrespectful persons on the planet. They think they have a right to benefits, vacation pay, etc., that it is owed to them. How many of you have ever THANKED your employer for everything they offer you / provide you with?

The United States of America is the 21st Century version of the rise & fall of the Roman Empire. The current regime controlling the white house grew up with the mentality that everything is OWED to them, that they do not have to EARN it.

There are only TWO things that humans have a right to: oxygen and water. Anything else you want or need, you’d better EARN it.
