Many videos here. The first video has no sound – Security camera footage. I was a brakeman / conductor for a railroad. I am SO FORTUNATE I never experienced what these train crews did. Train crews “pucker the seat” multiple times a trip, every trip because of close calls like these. Watch the first vid, and pay attention to the brown SUV. Hmmm…. maybe the warning flashers were working? Even if they weren’t the SUV driver was paying attention! I always pause the videos for a bit to let them build up in the computers “buffer”. Press play, then pause, and watch the progress bar. Can let it buffer until end before playing. Another video with sound. The locomotive engineer had “soaked it” (put the brakes in emergency), before the incident even occurred. The most appalling aspect of this video is the interviewed person saying “there needs to be gates”. That train was not going to delay this driver, gates or no gates. Driver was not ticketed – she died four days later. I witnessed this every trip Did you know they do crash testing on locomotives? The probability that the crew would survive in real life? hmmm…

This gave me a new appreciation for drummers! He added inset camera footage showing footwork. WOW! The cheezy grin is kewl! He seems to get lost in thought, then just pops right back into the groove. Not sure if it was intentional. If not, it’s amazing how he instantly got back in tune. I always pause the videos for a bit to let them build up in the computers “buffer”. Press play, then pause, and watch the progress bar.
